Short answer
For families with young kids, the Mountain-cluster chalets are usually the best fit: they share a seasonal heated pool (May–mid-September), sit a 10-minute walk from the Village's family attractions, and each has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and private hot tub. They sleep 10 to 14. One honest note — lower levels have stairs and the chalets aren't wheelchair accessible.

Why the Mountain cluster suits families

The eight Mountain-cluster chalets on Brooker Blvd share a seasonal heated outdoor pool (May to mid-September) and gas firepits that kids love, and they're a flat 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village — home to mini-golf, the Plunge Aquatic Centre, a mountain coaster, and ropes courses. Each chalet has a full stocked kitchen for easy family meals, a washer/dryer for the inevitable laundry, free parking for four vehicles, and a private year-round hot tub. With bedrooms spread across the home, parents and kids each get their own space. See the family-sized options on the sleeps-14 page.

Picking the right size and layout

Most cluster chalets are 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom and sleep up to 14 — Aurora, Corona, Luna, and Prima — with Omega and Vega sleeping 13, Stella 12, and Vista a 4-bed/3-bath sleeping 10. For a single family with young kids, a chalet that sleeps 12 is often plenty; browse the sleeps-12 chalets. For a multi-family trip with several sets of kids, you can book adjacent chalets so each family has its own space while the kids share the pool and firepits. We don't have a dedicated kids' games room or cinema, so the open living spaces are where families gather.

Safety and what to bring

An honest heads-up for parents of little ones: the chalets are multi-level, lower levels have stairs, and the chalets are not wheelchair accessible — worth planning around with toddlers and strollers. Hot tubs and the seasonal pool always need adult supervision for young swimmers. We supply linens, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen, but you'll want to bring your own cribs, high chairs, and child gates if you need them, plus food and coffee. Check our FAQ for what's included, and remember every chalet is pet-friendly, so the family dog can come too.
