Where The Aurora sits at 104 Brooker Boulevard
The Aurora is chalet 1 of the eight adjacent Blue View chalets on the one property, at the east end of the row, right beside the pool deck and the lot entrance. The Aurora is the coloured chalet on the plan, and 1 is the number printed on its parking passes and shown on the booking site.
Who The Aurora suits
The Aurora is the cluster chalet to choose when three couples want bedrooms on the same floor: it is the only Brooker Boulevard home with three queen bedrooms on the main level. Five bedrooms and three listed bathrooms sleep up to 14 guests across three storeys, with the kitchen, dining seating for ten and the living room on the upper floor and two bunk rooms downstairs.
It sits at 104 Brooker Boulevard across from Monterra Golf Course, a 10-minute walk from Blue Mountain Village, and shares the seasonal heated outdoor pool with the other seven cluster chalets. Multi-family groups, ski weeks and milestone weekends are its natural fit; use the Aurora rooms and beds guide to agree on sharing before you reserve.
The Aurora rooms and beds, level by level
Aurora’s bedroom plan is unusual for the cluster. Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are all queens on the main level, so three pairs can stay together one flight below the kitchen. Downstairs, Bedroom 4 combines a single-over-double bunk with a separate single bed for four sleepers, and Bedroom 5 is listed as single-over-double bunk beds without a stated room capacity.
That fifth room is the one to confirm with the property manager before you plan for all 14, because the published bed list does not say how many bunk sets it holds. A ten-person party can ignore the question entirely: six in the three queens plus four in Bedroom 4 fills Aurora without touching Bedroom 5. The adults-and-kids layout answer explains how families usually split queens upstairs from bunks below.
| Room | Level | Listed beds | People |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bedroom 1 | Main level | Queen | 2 |
| Bedroom 2 | Main level | Queen | 2 |
| Bedroom 3 | Main level | Queen | 2 |
| Bedroom 4 | Lower level | single-over-double bunk + single bed | 4 |
| Bedroom 5 | Lower level | single-over-double bunk beds | Confirm |
Kitchen, living floor and facilities at The Aurora
Everything social at The Aurora happens on the top floor: a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator and coffee maker, a dining area seating ten, and a living room around the gas fireplace with a Smart TV. The photographs show timber-panelled walls and tall windows, and the balcony off this level looks straight at the ski hill and across to Monterra.
Because dining seats ten and the chalet sleeps 14, plan two sittings or a buffet for a full house. Linens and towels are provided, there is an ensuite washer and dryer, and air conditioning and heating cover every season; the kitchen equipment answer lists what to expect before you shop.
Hot tub, pool and outdoor space at The Aurora
Aurora’s private hot tub is on the lower deck and runs year-round; keep it to eight people at a time, cover on when nobody is in it, and note the Town by-law quiet hours of 11 PM to 7 AM for outdoor tubs. From May to mid-September the shared heated pool and the gas fire-pit patio at 104 Brooker Blvd are open to registered guests of the eight cluster chalets, with no food, drink, glass or pets in the pool area.
The propane BBQ, the garden and the golf-course and mountain views round out the outdoor list. Aurora’s reservation includes four free parking spaces with passes for space #1 on the parking map. Read how many people fit in the hot tubs and whether the pool is shared if those details decide your booking.
Where The Aurora is and getting around
From The Aurora, Blue Mountain Village is a 10-minute walk, so a ski day or a Village dinner needs no car once you have arrived. Monterra Golf Course is directly across the road, and Scandinave Spa, Collingwood’s downtown and the Georgian Bay shoreline are short drives; the Monterra golf answer and the near-the-Village collection cover those distances.
Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out at 11:00 am. Pets are welcome at Aurora with a pet fee: one dog per stay is standard and a second may be considered by size with prior confirmation, as set out on the pet-friendly chalets page.
