March Break bookings skew long — four and five nights instead of two — because the drive up is the same whether you stay two days or five. Longer stays also unlock the slower rhythm the week is for: ski mornings, pool-free-but-hot-tub afternoons, one big cook-up per evening in the chalet kitchen. Late-season snow, honestly

Mid-March at Blue Mountain is genuine spring skiing territory: soft afternoon snow, milder temperatures, and conditions that vary more year to year than mid-winter. Most seasons the lifts are turning through the break; the exact surface is weather’s call.
