Christmas through New Year's is the most requested stretch of the winter at every accommodation provider in the area, ours included. Families that get the chalet they want fix their dates and book months ahead — by early fall the choice is already narrowing. Two or three families for Christmas

The multi-family Christmas is what the Mountain cluster was made for: eight adjacent chalets on one property, so each family keeps its own kitchen, tree corner, and bedtime schedule, and the group shares the firepits and the snow between the chalets.
