Short answer
All eight chalets in our Mountain cluster have at least two queen bedrooms on the main level, and Aurora has three — so grandparents and anyone minimizing stairs sleep on the main level rather than down on the bunk level. One honest note: these are three-storey ski chalets, with the open-concept kitchen and living areas on the bright upper level, so some stairs are part of every cluster chalet. Bunk rooms sit on the lower level in every cluster chalet. The 44L chalet places its queen bedrooms upstairs, and Aqua Villa lists its rooms without levels — check its page or ask us about stairs before booking either.
Main-floor bedrooms, chalet by chalet
In the Mountain cluster: Aurora has three queen bedrooms on its main level — the most of any chalet — while Vista, Omega, Vega, Corona, Stella, Luna, and Prima each have two queen bedrooms on the main level. Remaining bedrooms — including every bunk room — are on the lower level. Each chalet page publishes the exact bed-by-bed layout, so you can assign rooms before you arrive.
Why this matters for multi-generation groups
The most common request behind this question is a three-generation trip: grandparents want a real bed near the bathroom and the kitchen without navigating stairs at night. The cluster layout answers most of it — adults and grandparents take the main-level queens while kids take the lower-level bunk rooms, so nobody who wants to avoid the bottom floor has to sleep there. Do note the living and kitchen areas sit one flight up on the top level, ski-chalet style, so a group that needs a genuinely stair-free stay should talk to us before booking. The two off-cluster chalets
The 44L in Tyrolean Village places its two queen bedrooms upstairs, with a third queen and a bunk room downstairs — different building, different vintage, different layout. Aqua Villa on the Georgian Bay waterfront lists three queen bedrooms and a fourth room with two single beds; its page has the details, and if stairs are a concern for your group, ask us and we will tell you plainly which chalet fits.
Related questions
Which chalet is best for grandparents who avoid stairs?
Aurora, with three queen bedrooms on the main level, gives the most flexibility — though the living areas in every cluster chalet are on the upper level, so a completely stair-free stay is not possible. Every other Mountain-cluster chalet still offers two main-level queens.
Are the bunk rooms always downstairs?
In the Mountain-cluster chalets, yes — bunk rooms are on the lower level, with queen bedrooms on the main level.
Are the chalets wheelchair accessible?
Main-floor bedrooms reduce stairs but do not make a chalet fully accessible. See our accessibility answer for the honest details, or contact us about your specific needs.
