Group occupancy at Blue Mountain: what the licence allows
Every Blue View chalet is licensed by the Town of The Blue Mountains for short-term accommodation, and each licence carries a registered guest maximum. Ours run from 10 to 14 per chalet, and the licence number is published on each chalet page. That ceiling is the honest reason a single chalet cannot take 16, 20 or 30: a group that size books adjacent chalets, and every guest sleeps in a real bedroom instead of a living-room floor. It is also why the capacity ladder above counts in chalets rather than mattresses.

Stay length, check-in and the deposit
- Two-night minimum as standard; three to four nights over peak holidays

- A refundable $500 security deposit is authorized, not charged, per chalet at check-in

The cluster is at the base of the hill, across Brooker Boulevard from Monterra Golf, a 10-minute walk from the lifts, patios and shops of Blue Mountain Village and about 15 minutes by car from downtown Collingwood. Scandinave Spa is a 4-minute drive. For a group that also wants the bay, Aqua Villa sleeps 10 on the Georgian Bay waterfront a 5-minute drive away, and 44L sleeps 10 in Tyrolean Village. Can a group book one chalet for more than 14 people?
No. Each chalet carries a Town of The Blue Mountains short-term accommodation licence with a registered guest maximum, and ours top out at 14. Groups above that take two or more adjacent chalets on the same property.
Are the group chalets really next to each other?
Yes. The eight cluster chalets share one property at 104 Brooker Boulevard, across from Monterra Golf and a 10-minute walk from Blue Mountain Village. 44L and Aqua Villa are separate addresses a short drive away.
What is the minimum stay for a large group booking?
Two nights as standard. Over peak holidays such as Christmas, New Year’s, Family Day, March Break and summer long weekends, three to four nights may be required; the booking page shows the exact minimum for your dates.
Can we hold a party or invite day guests to the property?
Day visitors are not permitted and only registered overnight guests may use the property. Celebrations are welcome within each chalet’s registered guest limit, and the Town noise by-law applies at all hours.
