The eight cluster chalets share one address at 104 Brooker Boulevard; 44L in Tyrolean Village and Aqua Villa on Highway 26 are separate homes. Choose the location by rink first, then by bunk rooms and sleeps.

Choosing a ringette team’s base from the rink schedule

The fixture list decides the base. Ringette events are not on our events calendar, so take the venue from your association’s schedule and read it against the table. When most games are in Collingwood, the Brooker cluster works and a team that needs more than one home books two chalets side by side, each on its own calendar. When the team plays in Thornbury or Meaford, Aqua Villa is the closer start.

Three ringette road-trip address traps near Georgian Bay

Meaford’s community centre is at 151 Collingwood Street West, in Meaford; a parent who types “Collingwood Street” without the town can end up in the wrong place. Creemore Arena sits on Collingwood Street too, at number 220 in Creemore. Wasaga Stars Arena moved in January 2024 to 544 River Road West, replacing the old building at 425 River Road West, and old posters still show the former address. Sleeping a ringette team by age group

Younger players usually manage two to a double lower bunk; older teens often want a bed each. Plan by room type, not by headcount. Stella and Vista each have a twin room with two single beds on the lower level, so two older players get separate beds without a ladder. Stella sleeps 12: three queens for six adults, a bunk room for four and the twin room for two. 44L sleeps 10 with three queen rooms and a room of two single bunk frames. Aqua Villa documents three queens and two singles; confirm a nine- or ten-person plan with the manager before booking it. The bunk-room assignments guide helps settle who sleeps where.

Between ringette games: the chalet day and the clock

Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out 11:00 am, with a two-night minimum that fits a Friday-to-Sunday event. A Sunday game after 11:00 am means loading the cars before the team leaves for the rink. Between games, every chalet has a private hot tub that runs all winter, and the cluster is a 10-minute walk from Blue Mountain Village for lunch. Which Blue View chalet is closest to the Thornbury arena?

Aqua Villa, about 15 minutes by car from the Beaver Valley arena. The Brooker cluster and 44L are about 20 minutes away.

Do you list ringette tournament dates?

Not at present. Take dates and rinks from the association’s schedule, then check each chalet’s live calendar for those nights.

Can two ringette families share one chalet?

Yes, within its licence. A 14-guest chalet can take two families in the queen rooms and their players in the bunk rooms, up to 14 people in total.

Is there anywhere to dry ringette gear?

No chalet lists a gear room. The cluster chalets and 44L have an in-unit washer and dryer for clothing; agree with the manager where bags can air out.
