Who Vega and Corona suit

This pair suits a group of 22 to 27 that wants a sauna without taking a third chalet: a reunion with a few maybes on the list, or a ski club that sold two more places than planned. The Vega (13) and The Corona (14) carry 27 with nobody on a sofa, as long as everyone uses the beds as listed.

The Corona is the gathering house. Its upper floor has two gas fireplaces and dining for ten, and its private indoor sauna is dry heat. The Vega is the calmer half: three queens, a private hot tub under the balcony and a lawn beyond the lower deck.

How 27 guests split across Vega and Corona

The Corona takes 14: two queens on the main level, a queen downstairs and two lower rooms that each hold a single-over-double bunk and a single. The Vega takes 13 with the same three queens and a three-person single-bunk room in place of Corona’s second four-person bunk room. For a family group, the youngest children go in Corona’s two matching bunk rooms and the couples in the six queens. Full lists: Corona rooms and beds, Vega rooms and beds.

What Vega and Corona share and what stays private

Both chalets face the shared lot from the middle of the arc, a few doors west of the pool deck. The sauna is inside The Corona, so plan sauna time as part of an evening there; hot tubs, kitchens and laundry stay private to each house. Other sauna chalets are on chalets with a private sauna.

If Vega or Corona is taken

If The Corona is booked, Vega’s other neighbour is The Omega, and Omega and Vega sleeps 26 without a sauna. If The Vega is booked, Corona and Stella keeps Corona at the centre and adds a second dry sauna for 26.

Vega and Corona: questions before booking

Is the sauna shared between Vega and Corona?

It belongs to The Corona and is inside that chalet. When you book both, how your group shares it is up to you; The Vega has a private hot tub but no sauna.

How many people can Vega and Corona sleep?

Twenty-seven: thirteen in The Vega and fourteen in The Corona, each chalet’s licensed maximum.

Which chalet should host dinner for the Vega and Corona group?

The Corona, with dining for ten and two gas fireplaces on its upper floor. Twenty-seven people still need two sittings or a second table in The Vega.

Can we add a third chalet to Vega and Corona later?

Yes, if the dates are free. The Omega is next to The Vega and The Stella is next to The Corona: see Omega, Vega and Corona (40) or Vega, Corona and Stella (39).

The Vega and The Corona: 10 bedrooms for up to 27 guests on one property.
