Parents trusting grandparents with the children for a weekend usually ask one thing: who is near the kids at night? In the cluster the bunk rooms are on the lower level, and six chalets put a queen room on that same floor. In Vega and Omega, Bedroom 3 is a lower-level queen on the floor with a bunk room holding a single-over-double bunk plus a single and a room with a single bunk plus a single, so grandparents sleep on the same level as up to seven grandchildren. At 44L in Tyrolean Village, the downstairs queen shares its floor with a bunk room of two single bunk frames. Book on the chalet’s calendar, for example Vega’s.
Vista is the exception: its two queen rooms are on the main level and both children’s rooms are downstairs.
Every chalet has a private hot tub, open year-round, and the cluster shares a heated outdoor pool May to mid-September. Plan for an adult in the water or beside it whenever a child is, and keep the hot tub covered when the adults are inside. Saunas and steam rooms are adult territory, and of the chalets on this page only Stella has one, a dry sauna. Dogs are not allowed in the pool, hot tubs or steam rooms. Read the shared pool with children before a summer trip. Cribs, high chairs and stair gates are not on the amenity lists, so bring them or ask before booking for a toddler.

Two grandparents and up to eight grandchildren fit Vista or 44L, each licensed for ten; bigger crews of cousins take Vega or Omega, licensed for 13. The grandparent who books pays in full at reservation, and the security deposit is authorized on their card at check-in. Send the parents the address, the 4:00 pm arrival and 11:00 am departure times, and the house rules: the noise by-law applies at all hours, and parents who drop the children off cannot stay on for the day unless they are registered guests. Vega, Omega, Corona, Stella, Luna and Prima each have a queen on the lower level with the bunk rooms; at 44L the downstairs queen shares a floor with the bunk room.

Not unless they are registered overnight guests. Day visitors are not permitted, so plan the handover around the check-out time.
The shared heated outdoor pool at 104 Brooker Boulevard is open May to mid-September for the cluster chalets; 44L guests drive to it.
