All five sit at 104 Brooker Boulevard, across the road from Monterra’s courts. Aurora has three main-floor queen rooms; Corona and Luna add two gas fireplaces each.

Couples on a pickleball group weekend: why Aurora

Pickleball weekends are often couples, and Aurora, unit 1, has three queen bedrooms on the main level, the most of any Blue View chalet, with two bunk rooms downstairs. Its upper floor holds the kitchen, a dining table for ten and a balcony facing the ski hill; the hot tub sits on the lower deck. Aurora is licensed for 14, but its fifth bedroom’s capacity is not stated, so confirm the bed plan before filling it. The living floor is upstairs, so every meal involves a flight of stairs. A club of up to 24 pairs it with Vista next door: Aurora and Vista book as two chalets on two calendars.

Monterra courts for a pickleball group weekend

Monterra Tennis & Pickleball is the resort’s racquet facility at 264 Jozo Weider Boulevard, across the road from the Brooker chalets and close enough to walk. The resort describes court bookings through an online portal, plus lessons and clinics. Two cautions: the page showed the facility closed for the season at our October 2026 review, and it gave tennis details only, so ask the resort about pickleball courts, equipment and operating months before you promise the club a match. A chalet booking does not include court time.

Town courts for a pickleball group: Tomahawk and Beaver Valley

The Town of The Blue Mountains lists four outdoor courts at the Tomahawk Recreation Complex: three are available to local clubs for rental, and Court 1 is first come, first served for public use, so check its schedule before driving. Our estimate to the Tomahawk address is about 25 minutes from the cluster and 15 from Aqua Villa. Beaver Valley Community Centre in Thornbury, about 20 minutes away, offers indoor pickleball year-round in its Large Hall, with summer play on the arena floor. Off-court time on a pickleball group weekend

The private hot tub runs year-round, the shared pool from May to mid-September, and Blue Mountain Village is a 10-minute walk for dinner. Golfers in the club can cross to Monterra Golf, and Corona and Luna each have two gas fireplaces for the evening. Check-in is 4:00 pm, so the first match is usually the next morning; check-out is 11:00 am. Local club members who are not staying cannot join the evening at the chalet, because only registered overnight guests may be on the property. Chalets near Blue Mountain Village shows the walk.
