Winter and summer: the two peak seasons
Winter (December through March) is prime time for ski groups: the eight Mountain-cluster chalets are a 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village and the lifts, and nothing beats a private hot tub after a day on the hill. Holiday weeks, Family Day and March Break are busiest and priciest. Summer (roughly May to mid-September) is the other peak — the cluster's shared heated pool opens, Aqua Villa's sandy Georgian Bay beach comes alive, and golf at Monterra is right across the road. Both seasons book up early; see how far ahead to plan on our advance-booking guide.
Fall colour and spring value
Fall is a quietly brilliant time to come: Georgian Bay and the Niagara Escarpment turn gold and red, the trails are crisp and uncrowded, and the Village stays lively without the winter crush — ideal for a relaxed getaway, a corporate retreat or a wedding weekend. Late spring and November are the shoulder seasons with the year's lowest rates and fewest crowds, a smart pick for budget-minded groups who still want a whole chalet, full kitchen and hot tub. For an offsite or milestone, see our corporate retreats page, and for ideas any time of year, browse things to do.
What stays the same all year
Whatever the season, every Blue View chalet keeps group trips easy: a private year-round hot tub, full kitchen, gas fireplace, BBQ, WiFi, washer and dryer, and free parking for four. All 10 are pet-friendly, and most sleep 12 to 14 (Vista 10, Aqua Villa 10). Several add a sauna for cold-weather stays — steam at Luna, Prima and Aqua Villa, dry at Corona and Stella — especially welcome in winter.
