Can we split the chalet payment between guests?

Blue View’s policy is that the full amount is paid when the chalet is reserved — no partial deposit, no instalments, no pay-on-arrival — and the payment-policy answer walks through the confirmation that follows. The person who books is the lead guest: their card pays the reservation and carries the security deposit hold on check-in day, released about seven business days after departure. The booking engine does not divide one reservation across several cards, so the organiser needs to be able to cover the total up front and then recover the shares.

The usual pattern is simple: the organiser works out each person’s share, collects it by e-transfer, then books — or books first to lock the dates and collects within the week. When a party takes two or more chalets on the cluster — a two-chalet group of sixteen to twenty-eight, or a reunion spread across three — the natural way to split is one organiser per chalet.
