Is a chalet with a fenced or safe outdoor space good for kids and dogs?

Every Blue View chalet is a whole private home with its own outdoor area, a gas BBQ and a private year-round hot tub. The eight chalets in the Mountain cluster also have gas firepits and share a seasonal heated pool (roughly May to mid-September), so summer evenings outside are a real draw for families. The cluster sits on a quiet residential street directly across from Monterra Golf Course, giving kids room to run and dogs space to stretch out. Fencing varies by chalet, so we won't promise every yard is fully enclosed. If a secure, fenced space is essential — a dog that bolts, a toddler who wanders — tell us before you book and we'll steer you to the best-fitting chalet or help you plan around it. One safety note: the private hot tub and the shared pool aren't fenced off or childproofed, so kids need supervision around water whatever the yard looks like. Beyond the yard, the location does a lot of the work. The Mountain cluster is a flat 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village, and the surrounding golf course and nearby trails are perfect for morning dog walks and afternoons outdoors. Aqua Villa, our 4-bedroom Georgian Bay waterfront villa (sleeps 10, a 5-minute drive), has a sandy public beach right at the doorstep — a hit with families and water-loving dogs in summer.
