Short answer
No — we don't offer an in-house private chef or catering service. But every chalet has a fully stocked kitchen built for cooking as a group, plus a BBQ, and you're free to bring in a local caterer or order from nearby restaurants. The Village is a 10-minute walk and Collingwood about 15 minutes by car.
No in-house chef, but a kitchen made for groups
Blue View doesn't provide a private chef or catering as a service. Instead, each of our 10 chalets has a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, kettle, cookware, and utensils — several cluster chalets add a kitchen island — plus a BBQ outside. The open-concept top floor pairs the kitchen with a dining area seating about 10, so whoever's cooking stays part of the group. It's a genuinely practical setup for self-catering a big family breakfast or an après-ski dinner. See what comes with each chalet on the chalets page.
Bringing in a caterer or ordering in
If your group would rather not cook for a special night — a milestone birthday, a wedding weekend, or a corporate retreat — you're welcome to arrange a local private chef or caterer to come to the chalet, or to order delivery. The full kitchen gives an outside caterer everything they need to plate and serve. We're happy to point you toward local options; just get in touch with your dates and group size.
Dining out near the chalets
You're also minutes from a strong dining scene. The Mountain cluster is a 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village's restaurants and bars, and downtown Collingwood — with its cafés, breweries, and dining — is about 15 minutes by car. That makes it easy to mix self-catered nights with meals out. Browse nearby spots in our dining guide, and find more ideas for filling the days on the things-to-do page.
