A modern mountain villa lit up at twilight – Difference Between Corona and Stella | Blue Mountains
Short answer
Both have a private dry sauna and sit side by side as units 5 and 6. Corona sleeps 14, with two bunk rooms and two gas fireplaces. Stella sleeps 12, swapping the second bunk room for a twin room with two single beds, and has one gas fireplace. Book them together for 26 guests and two dry saunas at Corona and Stella.

Corona and Stella bedrooms compared

The first four bedrooms match: two queens on the main level, a third queen downstairs, and a single-over-double bunk plus single in Bedroom 4. Bedroom 5 is the split.

  • Corona: a second single-over-double bunk plus single, which holds four with sharing and takes the chalet to 14.
  • Stella: two single beds, which holds two and takes the chalet to 12.

So Corona fits more children, and Stella fits more adults or teenagers who want a bed of their own. Both list three bathrooms and dining for ten upstairs. The rooms pages, Corona and Stella, give the full lists.

Saunas, fireplaces and kitchens at Corona and Stella

Both saunas are dry, with wooden benches and a stone heater in the photographs, which sets this pair apart from the steam rooms at Luna and Prima. Corona adds a second gas fireplace, and its amenity list includes a kitchen island, barbecue utensils and conditioner, body wash and shower gel. Stella’s list includes wine glasses and body wash. Both have a freezer and a baking sheet, which suits a group cooking in.

Stella’s pet policy has one extra line: tell the team about the dog when booking. It is good practice at Corona too.

Choosing between Corona and Stella for a group

Thirteen or 14 guests: Corona, since Stella’s maximum is 12. Twelve guests with older kids: Stella, for the twin room. Two families or a group of 15 to 26 who want a dry sauna in both houses: book the pair. Corona is at the centre of the row between Vega and Stella; Stella is third from the west end, between Corona and Luna, so both sit mid-row rather than at the pool end.

The pair also anchors bigger bookings. Add Luna and its steam room for 40 guests in three chalets (Corona, Stella and Luna), or add Vega on the other side for 39. A group that wants heat after a ski day in every house should look west from Corona rather than east, since Vega, Omega, Vista and Aurora have no sauna.
