Planning a late-season stay

Late March and early April are for guests who like the trade: quieter runs, patios in the Village, spring skiing from a chalet base where the hot tub matters more than the fireplace. If your dates are after the first week of April, treat skiing as possible rather than promised and plan a trip that also works without it — the chalets’ year-round side (hiking, the Apple Pie Trail, Scandinave, Collingwood) fills a spring weekend easily.
What the closing date changes at the chalets
Nothing structural: the ten chalets run all year, the private hot tubs stay hot, and the shared pool at the cluster opens in May to hand the season over. What changes is demand — the weeks after March Break and before the Victoria Day weekend are among the quietest and best-value of the year, which is the reason to be here in early April even if you only ski one of your two days.
