Where should a golf group stay for a round at Lora Bay?

The club asks players to be on the first tee at least 20 minutes before their start. Add parking and check-in, then the drive: about 20 minutes from Aqua Villa (15.2 km), and about 25 from 104 Brooker Boulevard (19.3 km) or 44L (18.4 km). For a 9:00 tee time from Brooker, leave by about 8:00.

Use the club’s live booking calendar for the date before locking the chalet nights around a particular morning. Club storage is not listed at the chalets, so ask the team where bags should go.

Lora Bay’s dining room is open to the public and encourages booking dinner ahead, so partners who do not golf can join for the meal. That shapes an easy two-night weekend: Friday arrival at 4:00 pm, Saturday round and club dinner, Sunday breakfast at the chalet before the 11:00 am check-out.

Two couples fit The Vista, with two queen bedrooms on its main level, or 44L, with two queens upstairs and a third below. Three or four couples suit a five-bedroom chalet such as The Stella, which adds a dry sauna.

Blue View chalets accept one dog as standard, with a pet fee, but Lora Bay’s policy keeps pets off its property except where the law requires otherwise. Plan the dog’s day before the round. If you intend to leave a dog alone in the chalet, ask the Blue View team before booking.

Aqua Villa is the closest Blue View home to Lora Bay, sleeps 10 and has four bathrooms, so four golfers each get a room and a shower without a morning queue. The private hot tub sits on a balcony facing Georgian Bay, which is where most foursomes end the day.
