Which Blue View chalet fits a group of 11?

Stella is a five-bedroom chalet with three queens (two on the main level, one downstairs), a bunk room with a single-over-double bunk plus a single, and a twin room with two single beds. Eleven can sleep as:

• six in the queens, if three couples share;
• three in the bunk room, leaving the second half of the double free;
• two in the twin room.

Or, for a group with fewer couples, five in the queens and four in the bunk room. Stella has three bathrooms, a private dry sauna and a gas fireplace. The Stella rooms page has the photos, and its pet policy asks owners to tell the team about a dog when booking.

Spare places are good insurance. A group of 11 that might become 12 or 13 is safer in Omega or Vega, where the maximum is 13; the occupancy limit cannot stretch later, and going over it forfeits the full deposit. A group that wants a steam room or two fireplaces looks at Luna, and one that wants all the couples on the main floor looks at Aurora. In a 14-guest chalet, eleven people can leave both double lower bunks to one person each.

Some groups of 11 are really a family of six and a family of five. Two chalets give each its own kitchen and hot tub, and Aurora and Vista, or Vista and Omega, sit side by side at the pool end. It costs more than one chalet, but it is the version where nobody shares a bathroom with another family. Deciding which family gets which chalet walks through it.

For most groups of 11, though, one chalet is the answer, and the choice comes down to how much room to leave. Stella is the snug fit with a twin room and a sauna; Omega and Vega give two spare places and room-darkening shades; the 14-guest chalets give three.
