BeachLife is a four-day waterfront festival the Town of Wasaga Beach introduced in July 2026, built around free evening concerts, a midway and daytime beach activities at Beach Area 2. The first edition ran July 23 to 26, 2026 with tribute and classic-rock acts, sand sculpture, a beach soccer tournament and kite flying. A 2027 date has not been announced, so treat late July as a pattern to watch, not a booking date.
What the first Wasaga BeachLife Festival included
A group that wants all four days needs somewhere to sleep that is not a tent, and our chalets near Wasaga Beach are the place to compare bedroom counts against the people who will actually stay over. The town’s BeachLife page listed evening sets by Jukebox Heroes, The Carpet Frogs, Gold Dust Woman and Just Heart, plus a midway with rides and games.
Daytime programming covered morning yoga, sand sculpture, circus skills workshops, kayak and paddleboard demonstrations, beachside fitness challenges and a drum circle. Admission to the festival and concerts was free; rides, food and some activities were paid on site.
Entering the BeachLife beach soccer tournament as a visiting team
The 2026 festival ran a beach soccer tournament with team and individual entries through the town. For a squad travelling from the city, the useful questions are when the games fall and whether players need two nights or three. One Blue View chalet sleeps 10 to 14, which usually covers a small-sided roster and a coach; a bigger club can take two adjacent chalets at 104 Brooker Boulevard.
The town has not said whether the tournament returns in 2027. Wait for its festival page before promising players a weekend, and remember that day visitors are not permitted at the chalets, so everyone sleeping over must be on the booking.
Getting from Blue Mountain to Wasaga’s Beach Area 2
Our drive-time check puts Wasaga Beach about 39 minutes from 104 Brooker Boulevard, before traffic and stops; allow more on a festival evening. Each chalet allows four vehicles, which matters when a group arrives in several cars for a four-day event, and the late concerts mean choosing a driver before the first set.
If the group wants water of its own between festival days, Aqua Villa sits on Georgian Bay at 209555 Highway 26 and sleeps 10. Our Wasaga Beach day-trip guide covers the other beach areas.
