How to make the request
Ask early — ideally as you book — while there's room to plan around housekeeping. Send your chalet and dates by phone or via the contact page and we'll check what's open around your stay. These are requests, not promises: an earlier arrival or later departure hinges on whether the chalet is empty the day before or after you. If either side has an open night, your odds climb sharply. We'll confirm what's possible before you arrive so there are no surprises on the day.
Why it depends on the dates
Each chalet runs a single turnaround — out at 11:00 am, in at 4:00 pm — and housekeeping uses that five-hour window to clean, restock, and reset before the next group. When back-to-back bookings fill both ends, there's no slack to extend either way. Quiet midweek and shoulder-season dates are far more flexible, since the chalet often sits empty before or after you. Avoiding peak holiday weeks improves your chances; see how timing shapes availability in our how-far-in-advance guide.
If we can't shift the times
If a back-to-back booking locks the times, the location makes the gap easy to fill. The Mountain cluster is a 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village, so drop the car (free parking for four vehicles), explore the activities nearby, or grab lunch at a local restaurant until 4:00 pm. On departure day, stash bags and squeeze in one last Village walk before the two-hour drive back to Toronto. The standard 4:00 pm / 11:00 am times are always on our FAQ page.
Related questions
Is early check-in guaranteed if I ask?
No — it's a request, not a guarantee. It depends on whether another group is booked the night before. Ask us in advance and we'll tell you what's possible for your dates.
When is late check-out most likely to be approved?
On quieter midweek or shoulder-season dates when no group is checking in the same day, since there's no back-to-back turnaround to work around.
What are the standard times if my request can't be met?
Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am at all ten chalets.
