What is the difference between the Luna and Prima chalets?

A modern mountain villa lit up at twilight – Luna or Prima: The Difference | Blue Mountains, Ontario
Short answer
Very little inside. Luna and Prima have the same five bedrooms, sleep 14, have three bathrooms and a private steam room each. Luna lists two gas fireplaces to Prima’s one, and Prima, unit 8, is the last chalet at the west end of the row, the furthest from the pool and the lot entrance; Luna is next door at unit 7. Together they sleep 28, the largest side-by-side pair, at Luna and Prima.

What Luna and Prima have in common

Start with the beds, because they match exactly: two queens on the main level, then a third queen and two rooms of single-over-double bunk plus single on the lower level. That is six in the queens and eight in the bunk rooms, for a maximum of 14 in each. The kitchen, dining for ten and living room are on the top floor, and both amenity lists include a freezer, a kitchen island, room-darkening shades and conditioner, body wash and shower gel alongside shampoo.

Both chalets also have a steam sauna rather than a dry one. Luna’s listing text calls it a sauna, but its guest guide calls it steam and its photos show a tiled room with a bench; Prima’s guest guide also specifies steam. The rooms pages for Luna and Prima have the photos.

Where Luna and Prima part ways

  • Fireplaces: Luna lists two gas fireplaces; Prima lists one.
  • Position: Prima is at the far west end of the row, with one neighbour. Luna is second from the west end, between Stella and Prima.
  • Outdoor space: Luna’s balcony has an outdoor table and a barbecue above its lower-deck hot tub. Prima’s upper patio sits over a covered hot-tub deck.

The position point cuts both ways. Prima is the furthest chalet from the shared pool, which is a short walk in summer; it is also the furthest from the comings and goings at the lot entrance.

Booking Luna, Prima or the pair

For one group of 14, choose Luna for the second fireplace or Prima for the end-of-row spot. For 15 to 28, book both: two steam rooms, two hot tubs, two kitchens and six queen rooms side by side. If one is taken, Luna also pairs with Stella and its dry sauna (26 guests, Stella and Luna).

A bigger group can keep going east along the row: Stella, Luna and Prima together sleep 40, and every one of them has a sauna or steam room.
