The Stella as a Feversham Gorge walking base
The Stella sleeps 12 in five bedrooms: two queens on the main level, then a third queen, a bunk room and a room with two singles downstairs. That mix lets a club put couples in the queens and solo walkers in the singles and bunks without overfilling anyone. Stella also has a private dry sauna and a year-round hot tub, two good reasons to come back early. The kitchen and its dining table for ten handle a club supper, with a second sitting for the last two.
A club of thirteen moves to The Omega or The Vega; fourteen fits Aurora, Corona, Luna or Prima. Above that, Stella and Luna stand next to each other and sleep 26, with a dry sauna in one and a steam room in the other.
Walking Feversham Gorge’s 1.5 kilometres at a naturalist’s pace
Grey Sauble describes the trail as running above the gorge through a wooded stretch of the Beaver River landscape, with ferns and mosses in the shaded ground. A short distance is not a promise of a level path, so plan for natural surfaces and let the slowest walker set the pace. Observe the plants from the route rather than collecting them or stepping off for a closer frame.
The gorge itself begins on private land at an old mill dam in the village. Use the conservation area’s signed Grey Road 2 entrance west of Feversham and keep the club on the designated trail. Plan food and washroom stops around the day, since the conservation area lists no visitor services, and remember that a local member joining only for the walk should meet the club there: day visitors are not permitted at the chalets.
Building a club weekend around Feversham Gorge
Thirty-five minutes each way plus a short walk is half a day. A club that wants a full Grey Highlands day can add Eugenia Falls, about 45 minutes from the chalets; check the drive between the two before promising both. Otherwise keep it light and be back for the sauna. The Feversham Fall Fair ran September 18 to 20 in 2026, and the fair page will carry the next dates once the organizers announce them.

Is all of Feversham Gorge on public land?
No. Grey Sauble notes that the gorge begins on private property at an old mill dam, so use the conservation area’s designated access and trail.
How far is Feversham Gorge from 44L?
About 35 minutes, the same as from the Brooker cluster and from Aqua Villa.
Is the Feversham Gorge trail easy for older club members?
Its listed length is short, but the surface is natural and the operator does not describe it as paved or level. Let each member judge the terrain and keep slower walkers together.
