Eugenia Falls is the long day: about forty-five minutes each way

Plan Eugenia as the farthest outing of the weekend and book the base on the weekend rentals page. The village is about 38 kilometres and 42 minutes from 104 Brooker Boulevard by the measured route, before traffic and stops, and the falls about 45 minutes by the verified place route; parking and the walk to the viewing area come on top. Leave after a chalet breakfast, eat lunch in the valley and be back for the hot tub before dark. The Eugenia Falls page has the route table from all three Blue View addresses. The verified routes from Aqua Villa and 44L are about the same length, so every Blue View address makes the same day of it.

What Grey Sauble allows at Eugenia Falls

Grey Sauble Conservation describes a 30-metre drop from the Niagara Escarpment into the valley below, and its rules are firm: no access to the base of the falls, no standing on top of them and no crossing the fence barriers. Take photographs from the designated public areas and keep children within reach near the edge. The authority sells day parking and annual memberships online, so buy the pass before setting out. A printable map is on its site, and it rents a pavilion for groups that want a sheltered lunch.

Eugenia history: a gold rush, five mills and an early power plant

The site has a story for the drive. Grey Sauble says Eugenia Falls saw a “Fools Gold” rush in 1852, then five mills and a private electric plant; by 1905 it was home to the second hydroelectric plant in Ontario, and in 1915 Ontario Hydro moved the plant north and created Lake Eugenia to manage water levels. The festival named for that rush, the Eugenia Gold Rush Festival, was listed at the Maxwell Community Centre on June 27, 2026; its next date has not been announced.

Making a full Eugenia and Beaver Valley day from Blue Mountain

Visit Grey suggests Eugenia for eating, hiking the Bruce Trail, cycling and nearby galleries. A group with energy left can add Hogg’s Falls on the Boyne River near Flesherton, about 50 minutes from the cluster, or a valley lookout from the Beaver Valley falls and lookouts itinerary. Ten people fit Aqua Villa; twelve fit Stella; fourteen fit Corona or Aurora. Every chalet has its own hot tub and a full kitchen for the group’s dinner. Pack lunch from the chalet if the group would rather eat near the falls than look for a table in the valley.
