Booking a golf weekend at the chalets opposite Monterra

The chalet and the golf are two separate reservations. Book the chalet first: pick one of the eight on the lot, such as Stella or Luna, and reserve it on its listing. Then book Monterra. Its official page lets the public reserve tee times 30 days ahead, gives resort overnight guests a window at the time of their lodging reservation, and holds nine-hole rounds to 48 hours ahead; a Blue View stay is separate from the resort’s lodging, so plan on the public window. Groups are four players at most, with no spectators, caddies or riders. Every round includes a motorized cart, and drivers need a valid G licence because of road crossings on the course. The 2026 season opened May 14 and closes in late October, on a date that changes each year. Sequencing the mornings around those tee times is covered in chalets near Monterra Golf.

Matching Monterra foursomes to beds, chalet by chalet

A chalet’s licensed number assumes some guests share a queen or a double bunk. Golfers often want a bed each, so count beds too. Corona, Luna and Prima each have nine separate beds: three queens, then two lower bunk rooms that each hold a single-over-double bunk and a single. Stella has eight: three queens, one bunk room of three beds and a room with two singles. Two foursomes fit Stella with a bed apiece. Three foursomes need a second chalet or some sharing. Four foursomes, sixteen golfers, take two chalets; Luna and Prima sit side by side with 18 beds, ten bedrooms and six bathrooms between them. Each cluster chalet has three bathrooms, which matters before a shared early start. Room-by-room lists are on pages such as Stella’s rooms and beds.

Check-out is at 11:00 am, so a final-day round means loading the clubs and leaving the chalet before the tee time rather than coming back to shower. Course-by-course stays are planned in where to stay for Lora Bay golf and where to stay for Tomahawk.

Non-golfers on a Monterra weekend: courts, putting, pool and the Village

Monterra allows no riders or spectators, so anyone not playing needs a separate plan, and most of it is close. Monterra Tennis & Pickleball is across the road at 264 Jozo Weider Boulevard, with court bookings, lessons, clinics and youth programmes through the resort; it was closed for the season at the October 2026 review, and the resort page gave tennis details only, so ask about pickleball. Cascade Putting Course near the gondola base is an eighteen-hole putting course for groups of up to six, a fit for children too young for the real course; under-sixes play with an adult. From May to mid-September the eight chalets share a heated outdoor pool, and Blue Mountain Village is a 10-minute walk for dinner.
