Short answer
Osler Bluff Ski Club sits on The Blue Mountains–Clearview Townline south of Collingwood, which puts it about 15–20 minutes by car from our chalets at the base of Blue Mountain. Founded in 1948, Osler is one of the area’s original private clubs — and since ski days there involve driving whichever way you stay, many Osler families base at a whole chalet where the evenings, groceries, and the rest of the family’s weekend are all close.
The Osler commute, honestly
Osler’s hill is on the south side of Collingwood, so from our cluster you drive down through town — about 15 to 20 minutes in normal conditions, longer when the snow is coming down sideways. No lodging option eliminates that drive short of the club’s own doorstep, and the trade our guests make is deliberate: a few extra minutes in the car for a base where the non-skiers, the dinner plan, and the walk-to-Village evenings all work. The full inventory is on the chalets page.
One base, two constituencies
The classic Osler-family split: half the crew is at the club all day, the other half wants a hot tub, a walkable lunch, and something for the kids who are not in programs. A chalet at the base of Blue Mountain serves both — skiers commute, everyone else has the Village, the escarpment trails, and the chalet itself. Our answer on winter things to do near the chalets covers the stay-behind half’s options.
Booking for the club season
Winter Saturdays are the pressure dates for every hill in the area at once, private clubs included. Groups that anchor their Osler weekends early get the chalet and bedroom count they actually want — and for multi-family weekends, adjacent chalets keep each household’s morning routine its own. Dates and availability are live on the booking page; combining chalets is explained on the groups page.
Related questions
How far is Osler Bluff from Blue Mountain Village?
The club is south of Collingwood — from the Village area and our cluster, plan roughly 15–20 minutes by car.
Is there lodging at Osler Bluff itself?
Osler is a private members’ ski club, not a resort with public accommodation — families and guests stay in the surrounding area.
Does the drive matter for early starts?
Budget the 15–20 minutes plus winter-morning buffer. The chalet kitchen helps more than proximity here — breakfast for the whole crew before anyone touches a boot bag.
