Short answer
Winter is the headline season. From the Brooker Blvd cluster you're a 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village and the lifts for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, skating, and après-ski. Back at the chalet, a private year-round hot tub, gas fireplace, and saunas at a few chalets make cozy nights. Aqua Villa and 44L are a 5-minute drive.

On the mountain and at the Village

The main winter draw is the slopes. From the eight Brooker Blvd chalets it's about a 10-minute walk to Blue Mountain Village and the base of the lifts for downhill skiing and snowboarding. The Village itself is a winter hub — tubing, a seasonal outdoor skating loop, shops, après-ski bars and restaurants — all on foot, so the car stays parked all weekend. For exactly how close each chalet sits, see our guide to the walk to the lifts, and browse the walkable chalets on the near-the-Village page.

Beyond the resort

The wider Collingwood and Georgian Bay area has plenty off the slopes: cross-country and snowshoe trails, frozen-bay scenic drives, and the region's wineries, breweries and cideries for a cozy afternoon. Downtown Collingwood — galleries, cafés and local shops — is a short drive. Our things-to-do page and attractions page round up the highlights so the group can balance slope days and rest days. It suits a range of ages and energy levels, not just hardcore skiers — handy when half the crew skis and half wants a spa morning.

Cozy nights back at the chalet

Winter evenings are where a private chalet shines. Every chalet has a private year-round hot tub for a soak under cold, clear skies, a gas fireplace to gather around, and a full kitchen for a warming group dinner — no shared walls or hotel corridors. A few chalets add a sauna: steam at Luna, Prima and Aqua Villa, dry at Corona and Stella, for an extra post-ski thaw. See them on the chalets-with-sauna page, and check winter dates and live rates on the booking page.
