How Far Is Sauble Beach From Blue Mountain, Ontario?

Sauble Beach is about 86 kilometres from the Blue View chalets, roughly an hour and thirty-five minutes of driving before traffic and stops. It sits on Lake Huron on the far side of the Bruce Peninsula, so it makes a full beach day rather than a quick swim. Driving from Blue Mountain to Sauble Beach

We routed from 104 Brooker Boulevard to Sauble Beach: 85.8 kilometres and 94 minutes in free-flowing conditions. The route runs west on Highway 26 along Georgian Bay, north on Highway 6, and then on Bruce County Road 8 to the beach community. Summer weekends add traffic at both ends, so leave early if the group wants a parking spot near the water.

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula runs paid parking from June 1 to Labour Day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Outside that period the town says standard parking rules apply. Bring a payment card and check the town's current parking page before you go.

Booking a Georgian Bay base for beach days

Aqua Villa is Blue View's waterfront home on Georgian Bay, with a sandy public beach steps from the door, a bay-facing private hot tub and room for ten. It is a five-minute drive back to Blue Mountain Village. Larger groups can add Mountain-cluster chalets for more beds, each with a private hot tub and use of the shared heated pool in season, from May to mid-September.
