The eight Brooker chalets in order from the pool
- Aurora: the east-end chalet, beside the pool deck and the entrance from Brooker Boulevard.
- Vista: second from the east end, between Aurora and the pool house.
- Omega: on the pool side of the arc, the first chalet west of the pool deck.
- Vega: the middle of the arc, fourth from the pool.
- Corona: the centre of the row.
- Stella: third from the west end.
- Luna: second from the west end.
- Prima: the far west end, furthest from the pool and the entrance.
The order comes from the property’s site plan and matches the unit numbers on the parking passes; see unit numbers at 104 Brooker.
Why distance to the Brooker pool matters for families
The pool is a shared, heated outdoor pool open from May to mid-September, for registered guests of the cluster chalets. For a family with young children, a chalet beside the deck means shorter trips for forgotten goggles, easier naps between swims and a shorter carry for the cooler, the towels and the inflatable. Teenagers will walk the length of the row happily; toddlers and their carriers will not.
The trade-off is traffic. The pool end is also where the lot entrance and the pool house are, so it is where most arrivals and swimmers pass. Families who want more distance from that may prefer the middle of the row. The shared pool with kids answer covers pool-side rules.
Booking the pool end of the row for a group
Two families can take Aurora and Vista for 24 guests, both at the pool end. Omega pairs with Vista across the deck (23 guests) or with Vega (26). Three families can take Aurora, Vista and Omega together for 37. Dogs stay out of the pool under the pet policy, and day visitors are not allowed to use it.
If the pool end is booked for your dates, the middle of the row is the next best thing: Vega and Corona together sleep 27 and sit four and five chalets from the deck, still an easy walk with a towel over the shoulder. Check each chalet’s live calendar on the booking site before settling on a pair.
