Two-Night Offsite at Blue Mountain: A Team Agenda That Fits the Chalet Clock

Two nights is the minimum stay and a workable length for a team offsite: arrive for the 4:00 pm check-in, spend one full working day, and close the decisions before the 11:00 am check-out. One chalet takes a leadership team of up to 14; two side-by-side chalets take a department of up to 28.

28 most two neighbouring chalets sleep
9 separate beds in Corona, Luna or Prima

Compare the cluster chalets for a two-night team offsite

For one chalet, sort by sleeps and queen rooms. For two, choose neighbours on the lot so the second chalet becomes the breakout room. Corona and Stella add a dry sauna; Luna and Prima a steam room.

Sizing a two-night offsite: licensed sleeps against separate beds

A team of up to 14 books one chalet, such as Luna; a bigger team starts on two chalets for 16 to 28. Either way, each chalet is reserved on its own listing. The licence number on a chalet page counts guests who share a queen or a double bunk, which colleagues rarely do, so size the offsite on beds and bedrooms instead.
  • A five-bedroom chalet gives five people a room each.
  • Corona, Luna and Prima have nine beds apiece: three queens, plus two lower rooms that each pair a single-over-double bunk with a single. Stella has eight.
  • A leadership team of 12 to 14 at one person per bed takes two chalets; Luna and Prima give 18 beds and 10 bedrooms next door to each other.
  • A department of 26 at one per bed takes three: Corona, Stella and Luna hold exactly 26 beds.

Two-night offsite agenda: arrival evening, one full day, decisions by 11

Arrival day. 4:00 pm: check in and hand out rooms from the bed list. 5:00 pm: session one, 90 minutes, on the upper floor where the kitchen, dining and living space are; the problem, the constraints, and what a good outcome looks like. 7:00 pm: cook together on the barbecue or walk 10 minutes to the Village. After dinner, the hot tub and no agenda.

Full day. 7:30 am: breakfast. 8:30 am: session two on options. 10:30 am: breakouts, one group per chalet if you booked two, or one per floor if not. 12:30 pm: lunch. 1:30 pm: the outing. 4:30 pm: session three drafts the decisions. 7:00 pm: dinner out; The Alphorn is 5 minutes’ drive and arranges group menus. Evening: the sauna or steam room, if you chose a chalet with one.

Departure morning. 7:30 am: breakfast. 8:15 am: session four gives every decision an owner and a date. 10:00 am: dishes, refuse and recycling, cars loaded. 11:00 am: check-out, with the action list already sent.

Outings for the offsite afternoon, by season

Keep the outing to about three hours and close to the chalets. Across the road, Monterra Tennis & Pickleball books courts, lessons and clinics in its season; it was closed for the year at the October 2026 review. In the green season the Open-Air Gondola rides from the Village lift plaza toward the summit, and Explore Park trails need a qualifying day ticket. A midweek offsite can book Mountain View Stables, 5 minutes away, whose trail rides take riders twelve and older; the two-hour ride is for experienced riders and is not offered on weekends, holidays or in winter. In winter the resort’s lifts are within the walk to the Village, and Woodview skating opens once its season begins. In any season, AXED at The Bunker runs coached axe throwing in the Village. Weekday dates are on midweek rentals.

Working from a chalet for two days: wifi, tables and outsiders

Each chalet has free WiFi; carry a phone hotspot for the call that cannot drop. A smart TV is listed in every home, but confirm before booking that your laptop can connect to it if the sessions need slides. The chalets are homes, not meeting venues: the working room is the open upper floor, and six of the eight list a dining table for ten. A facilitator or speaker who is not sleeping over counts as a day visitor, and day visitors are not permitted, so book them a bed or meet them in the Village. The Town noise by-law applies at all hours, which suits a team that wants quiet anyway, and every chalet takes up to four cars. Choosing a chalet for a corporate offsite compares the homes, and the corporate retreat answer covers the rest.

Two-night offsite: frequently asked questions

Can we run a one-night offsite at the chalets?

No. Every stay is two nights at minimum, which is why this agenda runs from one afternoon to the second morning.

When can the first session start on arrival day?

From the 4:00 pm check-in. Ask the team about early check-in before planning anything earlier at the chalet.

How many colleagues can sleep in one chalet?

Up to 14 under the licence, but that assumes shared beds. Corona, Luna and Prima have nine separate beds each; Stella has eight.

Can an outside facilitator join us for the day?

Only as a registered overnight guest. Day visitors are not permitted on the property.

Is there a meeting room in the chalets?

No dedicated one. Sessions use the open upper floor with the kitchen, dining and living space; for a larger room, use a venue in the Village.
