High Five Invitational Swim Meet in Collingwood: A Late-Winter Team Weekend

The 2026–27 Clippers schedule lists the High Five Invitational on March 7 in Collingwood, for all groups except Futures. The 2026 meet ran on March 8, according to the club’s hosted meets page. Several families from one visiting club can take neighbouring homes through our chalets for groups of 20 to 30.

Sunday warm-ups leave little room for a long drive. A Saturday at the chalet gives swimmers a quiet evening, a team dinner cooked in the kitchen and an early night. The Clippers train at the Centennial Aquatic Centre, about 15 minutes from 104 Brooker by our route data; confirm the meet pool in the package.

With the two-night minimum, most families will arrive Friday and check out at 11 a.m. Sunday. Load the cars before warm-ups so nobody has to leave the pool deck mid-session.

Younger swimmers can share the bunk rooms that several Brooker chalets have. Parents get the kitchen, the living room and a private hot tub; the shared outdoor pool is closed until May, so there is no pre-race dip at the chalet. A free Saturday can go to skiing or a Village afternoon.

March 7 falls six days before Blue Mountain’s March Break listing begins. Families coming back for the holiday can look at our March Break chalets, and clubs that also travel in December should see the Collingwood Winter Invitational.
