Creemore 10K: Racing Two Village Loops From a Blue Mountain Base
The Creemore 10K is a chip-timed road race that starts and finishes in front of Creemore Springs Brewery on Mill Street, with two 5 km loops through the village. The first edition ran on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 10 a.m., and the race kit included a T-shirt and branded drinkware. A second year has not been announced. The brewery is about 45 minutes from the Blue View chalets, so a club can turn the race into a weekend.
The Creemore 10K course and race morning
A club planning ahead can hold weekend chalets for June once the organizer confirms a 2027 date. The 2026 course was a 5 km loop run twice through Creemore’s downtown core, starting and finishing at the brewery, with chip timing; runners 19 and over received a Creemore Springs drink at the finish.
A 10 a.m. start is kind to travellers. Leaving the chalet around 8:30 gives time to park, collect bibs and warm up without rushing breakfast.
Building a June running weekend around the Creemore 10K
Our place check puts Creemore Springs Brewery about 45 minutes from 104 Brooker Boulevard. With a Sunday race and an 11 a.m. checkout, book Friday and Saturday nights and check out before the drive south, or add Sunday night so the group can come back for a long lunch and the hot tub.
The shared heated pool at 104 Brooker is open from May, so early June is a good time for an easy Saturday swim. A shakeout run on the Georgian Trail keeps legs loose without hills. One chalet sleeps 10 to 14, enough for most club contingents, and the full kitchen covers a Saturday pasta dinner.
