From May to mid-September the Mountain Property runs its heated outdoor pool, the gas BBQs work overtime, and the balconies earn their keep — a summer cottage week here alternates pool time at home with Georgian Bay’s beaches and the Village’s open-lift, open-patio season. The waterfront option

One of the ten is a true summer specialist: Aqua Villa sits on the Georgian Bay shoreline with a sandy public beach steps away, sunrise-to-sunset water views, and its hot tub on a balcony facing the bay. Summer books differently than winter

Winter demand centres on Saturdays; summer demand centres on weeks and long weekends, building as the forecast firms. July and August weekends and the three summer statutory weekends (Canada Day, Civic, Labour Day — see long-weekend rentals) lead the calendar, while June and September deliver the same lake and pool with fewer people in both.
