Short answer
Yes — air conditioning is on the amenity list of every one of our ten chalets, alongside heating for the winter months. Summer at Blue Mountain brings real July and August heat, and a group of 10–14 generates plenty of its own, so cooling is standard rather than a lottery. You can verify it on each chalet’s page before booking.
Cooling is standard, not a filter
Vacation-rental listings in cottage country often make you hunt for AC — plenty of older cottages never had it. Here it is uniform: all ten chalets, from the largest 5-bedroom homes to the vintage 44L and the waterfront Aqua Villa, list air conditioning among their amenities. Every chalet page carries its full amenity list, so nothing rests on our say-so.
Why it matters for a full chalet
Fourteen people, a working oven, and an August afternoon add up fast, and bunk rooms on lower levels need proper airflow for kids to actually sleep. Cooling keeps the whole three-storey layout usable in a heat wave — bedrooms included. The rest of the summer toolkit sits outside: the cluster’s seasonal heated pool runs May to mid-September, and Georgian Bay’s beaches are minutes away — see when the pool opens.
Four-season comfort, both directions
The same systems that cool July heat the January ski weekends, and each chalet adds a gas fireplace for the après hours. Between the two extremes, spring and fall stays barely touch either — which is also when the calendar is quietest; our answer on the best time of year to stay lays out the seasons honestly. Whatever the month, check live dates on the booking page.
Related questions
Is the air conditioning central or unit-based?
Systems vary by chalet — what is uniform is that every chalet lists air conditioning. If your group has a specific requirement, ask us about the chalet you are eyeing.
Do the bedrooms stay cool at night?
The chalets are cooled as homes, bedrooms included — that is the point of listing AC rather than a couple of window units in the living room.
Is there heating for winter too?
Yes — heating is standard across all ten chalets, plus a gas fireplace in each for the winter-evening part of the job.
