Ridge Runner rider rules for a mixed-age family
The resort allows passengers aged three to twelve who are at least 102 centimetres tall. Solo riders must be thirteen and 137 centimetres; anyone driving a cart with a passenger must be sixteen or older, and the passenger must sit no higher than the driver’s shoulder. In practice a family needs one adult or older teen per young passenger, and a plan for any child below the passenger minimum. Check the full rules with the resort before promising a particular pairing.
Brooker chalets that put the Ridge Runner within a walk
All eight cluster chalets share the same walk to the Village. For a family of up to ten, The Vista has two queens, a bunk room and a room with two singles. For a larger family or two households, The Omega or The Vega sleeps 13 with two bunk rooms. The pool on the lot opens May to mid-September for cluster guests, so younger siblings who cannot ride have their own outing. The young-family chalet answer goes room by room.
Fitting Ridge Runner rides into a family day
The coaster runs subject to conditions, so check its status before leaving and keep the order of the day loose. A ride ticket is separate from the chalet booking. Queues and admission checks add time beyond the ride itself, especially when the family rides in several carts, so avoid booking dinner straight after. Check-out is at 11:00 am, which leaves a last-morning ride possible if the bags are packed first.
When the Ridge Runner is not for every child
Toddlers and children under 102 centimetres need their own plan while siblings ride. One adult can take them back to the chalet or around the Village while the other rides; the young children’s activity guide lists options close to the coaster. Two families sharing the trip can take adjacent chalets, such as Omega and Vega for 26, and trade off supervision.
