Where should a group of couples stay for Woodview Mountaintop Skating?

Woodview is a 1.1-kilometre skating loop at the summit, reached from Scenic Caves Road and P5 parking, not from the Village square. So even the cluster, a 10-minute walk from the Village, drives to it: about 10 minutes, the same as from 44L. Send the summit plan to every car before leaving. Walking along the skating trail is not permitted, and general spectators are restricted, so a partner who does not skate needs a separate plan rather than a stroll beside the ice.

The reviewed attraction page showed a seasonal closure, so wait for the resort to publish winter operating days before building the weekend around it. The attraction page and the ticket page disagree on session length, one describing entry without a time limit and the other two hours; ask which applies to your ticket. Ticket sales stop within an hour of closing. Skate rentals are offered, and the resort prefers hockey skates; figure skates are allowed if the toe picks stay off the trail.

Three couples fit 44L’s three queens with the bunk room spare, or The Aurora with all three queens on one floor. Four couples move to Corona, Luna or Prima, each with three queens across two levels; a fourth pair takes a lower room if its bunk arrangement suits them.
