Dates for the coming season Not yet announced. January to March 2027, on the same clubs. Alpine Ontario publishes its draft OCUP calendar each fall; the 2026–27 version was not out when we checked on September 22, 2026. Last season ran January 4 – March 20, 2026; check Alpine Ontario Alpin before booking around a specific
day, or start from our Ski chalets at Blue Mountain page.
What the Ontario Cup weekends are
The Ontario Cup is Alpine Ontario’s provincial race series for U14 and U16 athletes, with a FIS-level circuit alongside it. The Southern Ontario Division’s races are hosted by the private clubs on the escarpment around Blue Mountain, so on race weekends the parents, coaches and siblings of several hundred young racers arrive at once. In the 2025–26 calendar that meant, for example, U16 slalom at Alpine Ski Club on January 4, U14 giant slalom at Osler Bluff on January 18, U14 super-G at Craigleith on January 30, U16 giant slalom at Georgian Peaks on January 29, speed events at Osler in early February, U14 slalom at Devil’s Glen on February 21 and the U16 Gee Cup there on February 28, with FIS races at Craigleith and Osler in December and January.
The 2026–27 calendar
Alpine Ontario issues a draft OCUP calendar in the fall and revises it through the season; the 2025–26 draft was dated September 25, 2025. The 2026–27 version had not appeared when we reviewed this page on September 22, 2026. Expect the same January-to-March window on the same clubs, and confirm your child’s race dates on
alpineontario.ca before booking a non-refundable weekend. We update this page every January and June.
Club by club from the chalets
Our cluster at 104 Brooker Boulevard sits at the base of Blue Mountain, in the middle of the club map.
Craigleith is roughly five to ten minutes away;
Alpine Ski Club about 10 to 15;
Georgian Peaks around 15 minutes west along Highway 26;
Osler Bluff 15 to 20 minutes on the south side of Collingwood; and
Devil’s Glen about 30 minutes south at Glen Huron. A family with racers at two different clubs on one weekend is still within half an hour of both.
Race-family logistics that a chalet solves
Race mornings start early and cold. A full kitchen means a proper breakfast before a 7 am inspection instead of a hotel lobby; four free parking spots take the team carpool; nine of our ten chalets have an ensuite washer and dryer for wet layers; and the
year-round private hot tub is the recovery plan. Two racing families travelling together take
two adjacent chalets and share the shuttle runs while keeping separate front doors — the pattern our
private-ski-club families guide describes.
Where race families stay
Start from the
ski chalets page for the honest distances to the resort and the clubs, then pick by size: one family per
4-bedroom chalet, two families in a
sleeps-14, a club group across several adjacent chalets on the
large-group page. Non-racing siblings have Blue Mountain’s own runs a 10-minute walk from the cluster.
