Stayner Arena: Hockey, Public Skating and Chalet Stays

Players may need to arrive well before spectators, especially when equipment and dressing-room preparation are involved. Use the requested team check-in time to work backwards to departure from the chalet.

Share the address with relatives independently of the wider tournament name. The hockey accommodation guide helps count travelling parents and siblings as well as players when choosing the overnight arrangement.

The township distinguishes general skating from adult and parent-and-tot sessions. Its November start dates mean an October chalet visit should not assume the winter drop-in schedule has begun.

Read the current rules before packing: ordinary public skating excludes sticks and pucks, and children cannot be carried onto the ice in arms or baby carriers. The non-skiing winter guide helps choose another activity if the available session does not suit the family.

The community centre sits beside Legion Park, which the township identifies as having play equipment and a minor ball diamond. Treat an outdoor break as a seasonal option and keep an adult responsible for accompanying children.

For an indoor gathering, arrange the actual room with Clearview instead of assuming unbooked space can host the whole team. The Stayner visitor guide helps use the gaps between games without asking every companion to remain at the rink all day.
