A family relaxing together at a mountain cabin – How Many Kids Sleep in Each Chalet’s Bunk Rooms? | Ontario
Short answer
Eight at Corona, Luna and Prima, which each have two bunk rooms of four. Seven at Omega and Vega. Four at Vista, Stella and 44L, plus two more in a twin room at Vista and Stella. Aurora has four in Bedroom 4 and a second bunk room whose count is not given. Those totals assume siblings share the double lower bunks; families can compare layouts on the family chalets page.

Bunk-room capacity for every Blue View chalet

  • Corona, Luna, Prima: 8 (two rooms, each a single-over-double bunk plus a single).
  • Omega, Vega: 7 (one room of four, one room of three with a single bunk plus a single).
  • Vista: 4 in the room with two single bunk beds, plus 2 in the twin room.
  • Stella: 4 in the single-over-double bunk room, plus 2 in the twin room.
  • 44L: 4 (two single bunk beds).
  • Aurora: 4 in Bedroom 4; Bedroom 5 is listed as single-over-double bunk beds with no count, so confirm it.
  • Aqua Villa: no bunks; a twin room for 2.

All the Brooker bunk rooms are on the lower level, and 44L’s is downstairs.

Kids, adults and the rest of the beds

The bunk count tells you how many children fit downstairs; the queens hold the adults. Every chalet except Vista has three queen rooms, so a typical full house is six adults and eight children at Corona, Luna or Prima, six and seven at Omega or Vega, or six and six (with the twin room) at Stella. A family with more children than bunks can put two in a queen, which is how many groups of cousins manage.

Without sharing, counts drop: the double lower bunk becomes one child’s bed. Our own-bed answer gives those numbers.

Choosing a chalet for a big crew of children

Cousins’ weekends with lots of younger kids suit the eight-bunk chalets. Families with teenagers who will not share a mattress suit Vista or Stella, where the twin room takes two. A family with a baby may want a lower-level queen for the parents, beside the bunk rooms, which Omega, Vega, Corona, Stella, Luna and Prima all have. How a single-over-double bunk works explains who sleeps where, and chalets for young kids covers the rest.

Related questions

Which chalet has the most bunk space?

Corona, Luna and Prima, with two bunk rooms that sleep four each when siblings share the double lower bunks.

Are the bunk rooms near the parents?

In the Brooker chalets the bunk rooms are on the lower level. Six chalets also have a queen on that floor; Aurora and Vista put all their queens upstairs on the main level.

Which chalet suits teenagers who will not share?

Vista or Stella, where the twin room gives two teenagers separate single beds without a ladder.

Do children count toward the chalet’s maximum?

Every guest staying overnight counts toward the published maximum. Ask the team before booking if you have a question about infants.
