TK Ferri Orchards, Ontario: Farm Market and Chalet Stays

Last reviewed October 4, 2026 · Blue View Chalets Team

Plan the visit and the stay

TK Ferri Orchards runs a harvest-season farm-gate market on Grey Road 2. Its own FAQ explicitly excludes pick-your-own apples, so plan this as a shopping stop unless the farm separately agrees to a tour. It suits chalet guests collecting local fruit and cider for meals together.

Set the right expectation for TK Ferri’s working orchard

The orchard explains that its trees and production site are not open for public picking. Tell the group this before the outing, especially if children associate every apple farm with filling their own bags.

The farm instead sells harvested apples through its market. The regional apple itinerary helps place that shopping visit among other food stops, with each operator’s activities checked individually.

Plan TK Ferri purchases around your chalet meals

The operator lists apples, apple-blossom honey and Grandad Jack’s cider, which it says is pressed on site. Check the current market selection rather than promising a named apple variety to everyone before arrival.

Agree on quantities for the people sharing the accommodation and decide whether purchases are for the weekend or the journey home. The chalet food-weekend guide helps combine a modest farm shop with other meals without turning the whole day into errands.

Arrange any TK Ferri tour before adding it to the itinerary

The FAQ describes limited tours by advance arrangement. That wording does not provide a walk-in tour schedule, group capacity or a booking confirmation.

If seeing the operation is central to the trip, obtain the farm’s response before organizing the other guests around a time. Keep a market-only version of the outing available. The group-trip planner is useful for recording which plans are agreed and which remain inquiries, particularly when several households are sharing cars.
